John Anderson has been named 1992-93 Teacher of the Year in the Azusa Unified School District.
He joined the district in 1967 as a seventh-grade teacher at Slauson Junior High School. He currently teaches math to freshmen at Gladstone High School.
He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Cal State Los Angeles. He has served as an executive officer of the Azusa Educators Assn. and as a representative to the California Teachers Assn.
