Rent Control and the Election in Santa Monica

The Santa Monicans for Renters Rights must really think we renters are stupid. I can figure out that my rent control will stay in place no matter who sits on the City Council.
What bothers me are the transients sleeping and defecating in my building’s laundry room and garage, not to mention the takeover of our city parks. As long as the council is controlled by Robert Myers, it will continue to allow transients to break all kinds of laws.
I wish everyone who is upset about this would unite (so we wouldn’t split up our votes) to support the four council candidates who would most effectively make our city safe again.
