What has happened to journalistic ethics in L.A. network television? I ceased watching KABC news when it began to resemble a supermarket tabloid. I switched from KNBC when it played musical chairs with its anchors, then turned Fritz Coleman and Fred Roggin into slapstick comics. And, KCBS lost me when it conducted a tasteless poll asking viewers to vote on whether or not they believe that President Bush had a sexual peccadillo.
Shame on KCBS. That kind of specious news gimmick should be reserved for cheap hacks.
