RESTAURANTS IN REVIEW
It was a welcome change to read Charles Perry’s positive review on Tulipe (“Stop and Smell the Tulip,” July 19). It seems that most critics are kicking restaurants while they’re down, rambling on about how nervous the chef or the owners look. Almost every restaurant in town is hurting so badly financially that they’re having to cut everything back to the bone merely to make rent and payroll.
