First Lady Barbara Bush

I would rather have Clinton/Clinton, Gore/Gore in the White House, people who are in touch with today’s families and able to discuss with passion, understanding and intelligence the present needs as opposed to Barbara Bush and Nancy Reagan, who stare with adoration at their husbands, while the people of America suffer. “Just say no” and the “kindest person I know” are poor substitutes for jobs, homes, education and health insurance.
Eleanor Roosevelt was really the last “great White House wife.” This nation came out of a devastating depression with that White House team.
