EL CAJON : Arsonists Sentenced to Prison for 2 Fires

Two El Cajon men were sentenced to state prison Friday for setting fires at two elementary schools near their home.
Robby Todd Johnson, 25, and David Arthur Northam, 20, pleaded guilty in July to two counts of arson stemming from fires at Chase Avenue Elementary School on May 24 and at Cuyamaca Elementary School three days later.
Municipal Judge William H. Woodward sentenced Johnson to eight years in prison. Northam, who is his stepbrother, was ordered to spend seven years in custody.
