SHOP TALK: Irvine Mayor Sally Anne Sheridan miffed Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley enough recently that he telephoned her to complain. Orange County officials are frustrated by regional agencies they think are dominated by Los Angeles, and the two mayors exchanged public barbs. But Sheridan says there may be a happy ending: “He didn’t want us spitting at each other in public, and I said he needed to understand how important this was to us. He agreed to set up a meeting to hear us out, so we’ll see what happens.”
