Truck Stop: Attention, truckers: The American Transportation Television Network (ATTN) is scheduled to begin operations on Oct. 18. Based in Washington, the advertiser-supported private network will be carried by direct broadcast satellite to truck stops. Rick Friedman, most recently a Los Angeles-based independent producer, has been named program director for the new enterprise.
