SAN DIEGO : Convention Center Dispute Settled
- Share via
The San Diego Convention Center’s board of directors accepted a settlement Tuesday with former center Executive Director Tom Liegler, under which Liegler agreed to reimburse the center $32,266 for questionable expenses he authorized in 1991 and 1990.
The district attorney’s office ruled last week that Liegler was not criminally liable for the expenses, which included private parties at the Convention Center.
The money is to come out of a $77,000 fund set aside for Liegler’s retirement.
