Exxon Names New Chief of International Subsidiary: The Texas-based oil company said Rene Dahan, a Dutchman, will become president of Exxon Co. International following the abduction and slaying of its former president, Sidney Reso. Dahan, 50, has been executive vice president of Exxon International since March 1991. The subsidiary, based in Florham Park, N.J., is responsible for oil and gas operations, except exploration, outside North America. Reso was abducted from his suburban New Jersey home in late April, shot and later died while trapped in a self-storage locker.
