Public’s Help Sought in Locating Family of Stabbing Victim
ORANGE — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in contacting the relatives of a man who was stabbed a week ago behind an Anaheim store.
The victim, Francisco Llerenas, was in critical condition Saturday at UCI Medical Center in Orange. A hospital spokeswoman said the facility was trying to reach Llerenas’ relatives because “he is doing poorly.â€
Llerenas was taken to the hospital last Sunday after Anaheim police officers, responding to a call about a fight near Beach Boulevard and Orange Avenue, found him bleeding from a stomach wound.
Llerenas, in his early 20s, is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has curly black hair and brown eyes.
Members of Llerenas’ family or anyone who might know them are urged to call Police Detective Paul Gallagher at (714) 254-1968 or the UCI Medical Center nursing supervisor at (714) 456-6112.
