A fire of undetermined origin caused $230,000 in damage to a Masonic temple in Thousand Oaks, a Ventura County Fire Department spokeswoman said Sunday.
The fire broke out shortly before midnight Saturday in a 50-by-150-foot meeting room at the temple on Crescent Way, the spokeswoman said.
Three firefighters were in the meeting room when its roof collapsed during the blaze, but no one was hurt, she said.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
