A second man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of shooting a Lancaster man to death during a burglary and wounding his son.
Samuel Braccey, 19, of Lancaster, was being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in the June 28 killing of William Gillard, 69, and the shooting of his 39-year-old son, Michael, said Sgt. Robert Stoneman.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives obtained a search warrant for Braccey’s home, where they found enough evidence to arrest him, Stoneman said. Myron Payne, 18, was arrested July 8 on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in connection with the shootings.
