CLOSE ENCOUNTER: Former Sgt. Donald P. Bellisario, now executive producer of NBC’s sci-fi “Quantum Leap,” remembers his 1958 encounter with a “wise-ass” private at the Tustin Marine base. The Marine, sitting cross-legged, reading a socialist newspaper and “spouting Communist propaganda,” got on the sergeant’s nerves. . . . Years later, Bellisario saw him on TV and learned the private’s name: Lee Harvey Oswald. Result: Pvt. Oswald--who was at Tustin in the late 1950s--will be a character in a “Quantum” episode this fall.
