San Diego PAL Picks Up Victory

Maria Brunker scored 16 points, all in the second half, to help the San Diego Police Athletic League’s Select Team rally for a 51-43 victory over Alaska in a national PAL tournament in Kenner, La.

San Diego survived a 22-21 halftime deficit while drawing 27 fouls and making only 14 of 51 shots from the field. The girls are 1-1 in pool play.
