Appreciation for Police

I was moved by Josh Meyer’s article (“Vigilant Widow,” June 29) about Norma Williams, whose detective husband was murdered by someone he testified against. I would like to say to Mrs. Williams and to the many decent members of our police force something which has not been said enough lately: Thank you.
