Alice in Chains guitarist Gerry Cantrell co-wrote and guested with the band Circus of Power on “Heaven and Hell,†a song on the L.A.-based band’s upcoming debut album, “Magic and Madness.†. . . Tung Twista, an 18-year-old from Chicago, has been declared the world’s fastest rapper by the Guinness Book of World Records. He rapped 597 syllables in 55.12 seconds, breaking the old record held by Daddy Freddy. Twista’s debut album, “Runnin’ Off at da Mouth,†was just released. . . .

The group is the first to cooperate with Hard Rock Comics (slogan: “Unauthorized and proud of itâ€) in its series of rock hero exposes, which have previously looked at the likes of Guns N’ Roses and Queen.
