Police in South Carolina Capture Suspect in 27 Rapes

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Police said Friday they think they have captured the “Lowcountry rapist” following a high-speed chase in which the suspect was critically injured. The 29-year-old man is suspected of attacking as many as 27 women.
