Budget Crisis for State Colleges
The news of an 8% budget cut which would trash our state college system comes, significantly, on the same day as news that the “liberal†House of Representatives has authorized the manufacture of four more B-2 Stealth bombers (in addition to the 16 already authorized). Each of these wonderful toys costs $2 billion. Do we need them? No. Does the military-industrial complex still drive legislative expenditure? Hell, yes.
