El Toro’s Santoro Is Drafted by White Sox

Jason Santoro, an outfielder from El Toro High School, was taken in the 47th round by the Chicago White Sox in baseball’s amateur draft. Santoro, who was a second-team pick by The Times Orange County, hit .412 with 10 doubles and drove in 19 runs.
He also has signed a letter of intent to play at Fresno State and is considering both offers.
