Angelika Mayman has been appointed vice president, investor relations manager for Downey Savings & Loan Assn. in Newport Beach. She will be the primary liaison with the press and the investment community. Mayman, who has been with Downey since 1991, served most recently as marketing project manager. Previously, she was with Columbia Savings in Irvine, and held various supervisory positions in retail banking, residential lending and insurance services.
