CAMARILLO : Public Study Session on Budget Is Today
- Share via
The Camarillo City Council will hold a public study session today on the proposed $23.1-million budget for 1992-93.
The budget, about the same amount as the budget for the present fiscal year, includes no new positions or programs and calls for average salary increases of 3.8% for city employees, consistent with the cost of living.
“All in all, the city remains in reasonably good financial condition,” City Manager William Little wrote in his budget summary. “Many uncertainties face the city, however, such as the state’s budget process, the recessionary economy and the general November election.”
The council also will review residential solid waste, sanitary district and water utility rates at the study session, which starts at 9 a.m. at City Hall.
