* Ron Taft, a vice president at Los Angeles-based advertising agency Rod Dyer Group, has been named to the newly created position of vice president and creative director for Columbia Pictures TV Distribution. Taft, 44, will oversee advertising campaigns for the Culver City-based studio’s TV syndication division.
