Halmi’s TV Firm To Sell Stock: RHI Entertainment Inc., a New York-based television movie producer founded by Robert Halmi Sr., announced that it plans an initial public stock offering of up to 2.56 million shares at $12 to $14 each. The company said the proceeds will be used to pay $20 million in bank debt and to increase working capital. Halmi himself will sell 250,000 shares in the offering, cutting his stake to 462,500 shares, or 5.8% of the total. Halmi has produced such TV movies as “Spies, Lies & Naked Thighs” and “The Incident,” as well as “The Earth Journal” with Dr. Richard Leakey.
