Fay, Cole Commit to Oxnard

Lance Fay of Buena High and Chris Cole of Santa Clara, two of the best basketball players in Ventura County last season, made commitments Thursday to attend Oxnard College next season, Oxnard Coach Remy McCarthy said.
Fay, a 6-foot-1 point guard, averaged a region-high 29.2 points a game and was selected The Times’ Ventura County player of the year. He also averaged seven assists.
Cole, a 6-4 swingman and two-time Southern Section Division IV player of the year, averaged 10.5 points and 7.3 rebounds.
Also committing to Oxnard on Thursday were Jasper Satterwhite of Oxnard High, Jason McLean of Rio Mesa High and Andy Saint of Buena High.
