San Clemente’s Hulse Advances in Surfing

SAN CLEMENTE — Thirty-two surfers, including George Hulse of San Clemente, advanced out of the trial round in the $20,000 Body Glove SurfBout V Thursday at Lower Trestles.
Jim Hogan of San Clemente, Kasey Curtis of San Juan Capistrano, John Parmenter of Huntington Beach and Darren Brilhart of Newport Beach also advanced to today’s first round of the main event.
