Countywide : Transition Road to Close Temporarily

The transition road from the northbound Costa Mesa Freeway to both directions of the Santa Ana Freeway will be closed for construction from 11 tonight to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Caltrans officials are recommending that motorists driving northbound on the Costa Mesa Freeway exit at 17th Street and travel west to the entrance of the northbound or southbound Santa Ana Freeway.
State Department of Transportation spokeswoman Maureena Duram-Rojas said travelers should expect traffic delays in the area.
The weekend closing involves construction that is part of the $1.6-billion Santa Ana Freeway widening project.
