Katcef’s Six Goals Lead Irvine to Lacrosse Title

TRABUCO HILLS — Josh Katcef scored six goals and Bo Sutherland made 24 saves as Irvine defeated Trabuco Hills, 13-3, in the Orange County Youth Lacrosse League championship game at Trabuco Hills.
Katcef, who was announced as the league’s player of the year and a member of the national high school All-American team after the game, was the league’s leading scorer with 47 goals in 16 games. Sutherland was selected as the league’s top goalkeeper.
Irvine (15-2) advances to the State championship May 23-24 at Ojai.
