Where to go: Here is a list of some of the groups and organizations helping the relief effort in Long Beach and other areas in Southeast Los Angeles County.

General information, food, shelter and assistance available. Volunteers are being sought to deliver meals and assistance. Monetary donations by check only.
Broadway Department Stores, Los Altos Mall, Long Beach; Los Cerritos Center, Cerritos; Stonewood Shopping Center, Downey
Non-perishable foods, clothing and bedding will be collected near the first floor escalators at each store to be donated to the Salvation Army and First AME Church in Los Angeles for distribution. Donations will be accepted through Sunday.

Representatives from the Small Business Administration, the California Department of Insurance, the county assessor ‘ s office and City Enterprises will staff the center to provide assistance to business owners who suffered property loss or damage.
