Caltech Professor to Get Science Award
Shrinivas R. Kulkarni, a professor of astronomy at Caltech, has been selected to receive the Alan T. Waterman Award from the National Science Foundation.
Given annually to an outstanding young researcher in science, mathematics or engineering, the award is named for the foundation’s first director.
Kulkarni, selected for his work in radio astronomy, will receive up to $500,000 of research support over three years.
