TWA Plans Mini-Hub in Atlanta: Trans World Airlines Inc., moving into territory dominated by rival Delta Air Lines, plans to create a small hub at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. TWA said it will offer 19 daily departures to Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington National Airport, Tampa, Orlando and New Orleans. The airline serves Jacksonville, Fla., New York-Kennedy and St. Louis from Atlanta. The new flights will be offered at special introductory one-way fares of $69 and $89, depending on the destination. No advance purchase will be required, said TWA, one of three large U.S. airlines now in bankruptcy court.
