Pollution Research Says Profit Doubled in Quarter
Pollution Research & Control Corp. said its first-quarter profit more than doubled from a year earlier, to $238,000 from $106,000.
The Glendale-based maker of air-pollution monitoring equipment said the higher earnings in the quarter ended March 31 came on a 31% sales increase, to $1.7 million from $1.3 million.
