BURBANK : Woman Hurt in March Crash Dies

A Burbank woman who crashed during a rainstorm last month on the Golden State Freeway died Monday from internal injuries she suffered in the collision, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Edith Kim, 19, died Monday at Henry Mayor Newhall Memorial Hospital from injuries she received in a March 21 accident south of Gorman, CHP Officer Mark Ehly said. Kim’s passenger, William Shie, also 19, of San Ysidro received moderate injuries but survived, he said.
