SAN YSIDRO : Woman Killed While Crossing I-805

A woman who appeared to be in her late 20s or early 30s was killed while running across Interstate 805 in San Ysidro, authorities reported Sunday.
The unidentified Latino woman was crossing the freeway’s southbound lanes just south of San Ysidro Boulevard about 11:55 p.m. Saturday when she was hit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the driver was unable to take evasive action and that no charges are pending.
