Clinton’s Character
With friends like Jerry Brown, the Democratic Party doesn’t need any more enemies (Republicans or otherwise). For awhile, it looked like we Democrats might have a fighting chance at the presidency in November. Clinton vs. Bush, dealing with the issues that truly concern our country and its people. Now, by the time Clinton gets the nomination, all the Republicans need do is refer to their file of Brown speeches.
Clinton seems to have been placed under some vast microscope by the news media, to the exclusion of all other candidates. In what seems to me like calculated regularity, the print media come up with their Clinton indiscretion of the week. Could there be some grand plan here? Is it just possible that Clinton really could have beaten Bush? Well, fear not, all you Republicans. You’ve got Jerry Brown, the spoiler, on your side.
