Business With North Korea to Resume: South Korea will allow the giant industrial group Daewoo to resume business with North Korea in April after a two-month suspension, the domestic news agency Yonhap reported. The agency said the government took the action in view of progress made on inspecting North Korea’s nuclear plants. Daewoo suspended its plans for the first joint ventures with the North in February. South Korea imposed a ban on economic exchanges until North Korea allowed inspection of its nuclear facilities.
