Lion Killings Show Man’s Arrogant--and Erroneous--Sense of Entitlement

It seems to me that Pete Katelaris acted inappropriately when killing two mountain lions (“Santiago Canyon Landowner Shoots, Kills 2 Cougars as Threats to His Goats,” March 26). If Mr. Katelaris were a responsible member of the community, he would have taken the necessary action to protect his goats by fencing them in, thus preventing the senseless murder.
