Rams Sign Seattle Lineman Skow on Last Day of Plan B Period

On the final day of the Plan B signing period, the Rams added their fourth and probably final free agent Wednesday, signing Seattle reserve defensive lineman Jim Skow.

The period ended at midnight Wednesday and the Rams were not expected to close any 11th-hour deals.

Skow joins receiver Jeff Chadwick, running back Derek Loville and center Blair Bush on the Rams’ Plan B list. All four played for Knox in Seattle at some point in their careers.

The Rams, however, were frustrated in their attempts to land what they most desired in Plan B--a tackle to back up Jackie Slater on the right side and Gerald Perry on the left--which means they could use one of their top-round choices in the upcoming draft for a tackle.
