The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between March 23 and March 29: Glendale
Burritt Way, 3600 block--Jewelry valued at $1,740 was reported missing from a dresser March 27 after a moving company’s assistance at the location March 21.
West Cypress Street, 100 block--Thieves gained entrance to a security garage by forcing an object into a keyhole March 22 or 23. The intruders made off with several items--including a TV, video game, stereo and a tape player--valued at $3,860.
West Colorado Street, 400 block--A woman walking on a street at 7 p.m. March 23 reported that her purse, valued at $79, was snatched from her by two men.
North Maryland Avenue, 200 block--A man in an underground security parking lot was held up at gunpoint by three assailants March 24. They struck him on the head with a broken bottle, took the keys to his car and fled with $8,000.
North Louise Street, 1100 block--A burglar who had entered a home by breaking a sliding glass door was surprised when the occupant returned at 4:40 p.m. March 24. The burglar, who escaped by breaking another window, stole four pieces of jewelry of unknown value.
North Glendale Avenue, 400 block--Three bank robbers, two with handguns and another with a small machine gun, entered a Sanwa Bank office at 3:08 p.m. March 25 and stole $4,320. They robbers escaped in a car.
Arundle Place, 1500 block--A small refrigerator, two VCRs, a CD player, stereo, camera, calculator and coffee maker, valued at $2,000, were stolen from a home between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 25.
East Broadway, 1400 block--A student reported that two men armed with revolvers took her gold necklace, valued at $100, while she was sitting on the school steps at 9:45 p.m. March 25.
San Fernando Road, 4600 block--About 300 used car tires, valued at $3,000, were stolen from a business through a broken fence March 26 or 27.
North Brand Boulevard, 600 block--A Home Savings employee reported that a robber fled the office with about $3,000 in cash at 11:20 a.m. March 27.

North Figueroa Street, 7400 block--Thieves broke into a school and stole computer equipment valued at $7,800 March 21 or 22.
Wawona Street, 4400 block--Money and jewelry valued at $8,000 were stolen from a home between 8 and 10 a.m. March 23.
Eagle Vista Drive, 1100 block--Computer equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen from a government facility between March 20 and 23.
Echo Park
North Sunset Boulevard, 1400 block--A business was burglarized March 23 or 24, and property valued at $2,000 was stolen.
Berkeley Avenue, 2200 block--Burglars pried open a rear window of a home and stole money and documents valued at $2,730 between 2 and 11 p.m. March 24.
Avon Park Terrace, 1400 block--A home was ransacked between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 24 and money and jewelry valued at $2,325 were stolen.
Sunset Boulevard and Sutherland Street--Musical instruments valued at $3,800 were stolen from a vehicle March 26.
Centennial Street, 900 block--Two robbers armed with a semiautomatic handgun took a wallet with $275 in it from a man in a driveway at 6 p.m. March 28.

Delay Street and Fletcher Drive--A man dragged a woman into a tunnel at 9 a.m. March 22 and took her purse valued at $127. The woman escaped as the man attempted to rape her.
Isabel Drive, 3000 block--Thieves removed iron bars from an apartment window between March 20 and 23 and stole computer equipment and cameras valued at $5,400.
Sunny Heights Drive, 1700 block--Two men verbally threatened a person in a driveway until the victim gave them $1,034 cash at 5 p.m. March 25.
Drew Street, 3300 block--A woman reported that she was raped in an apartment at 1:45 a.m. March 25.
Chapman Street, 3300 block--Jewelry and cash valued at $1,805 were stolen from an apartment March 25 or 26.
San Fernando Road, 3200 block--Burglars smashed a side window of a business and stole computer equipment valued at $2,000 between 7 and 8:30 a.m. March 28.
Highland Park
North Figueroa Street, 7400 block--Computer equipment valued at $11,700 was stolen from a school March 22 or 23.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4200 block--Two thieves wielding scissors took a purse and contents valued at $150 from a woman in a parking lot at 3:45 p.m. March 23.
Marmion Way, 4000 block--Jewelry valued at $2,850 was stolen from an apartment between 11 and 11:45 p.m. March 23.
North Figueroa Street, 4000 block--Two robbers entered a bar, pulled out a revolver, ordered patrons and employees to the floor and took $700 at 12:15 a.m. March 24.
Delphi Street, 6000 block--Burglars stole jewelry and computer equipment valued at $1,225 from a home between 8:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. March 25.
Pasadena Avenue, 4800 block--Video equipment valued at $1,200 was stolen from a school March 25 or 26.
South Avenue 50, 200 block--Burglars took a stereo and TV valued at $1,940 from an apartment between 10 and 11 a.m. March 27.
York Boulevard, 6100 block--Two assailants pushed a person walking on the street to the ground and took money and documents valued at $700 at 2:30 p.m. March 29.

North Vermont Avenue, 1600 block--A robber armed with a semiautomatic handgun struck a department store employee on the head and took $15,000 cash at 11:20 a.m. March 22.
Riverside Drive and Glendale Boulevard--A person at a pay phone was robbed of a vehicle and credit cards by three assailants armed with a knife at 2:50 a.m. March 23.
Griffith Park Boulevard, 2700 block-A person in a driveway was robbed of a wallet with $130 cash by two men with a handgun at 9:30 p.m. March 29.
Silver Lake
North Glendale Boulevard, 1800 block--Industrial equipment valued at $16,700 was stolen from a garment factory March 22 or 23.
Moreno Drive, 2200 block--Burglars pulled the French doors of a home open on March 26 and stole video equipment and jewelry valued at $1,650.
