Louisiana State Coach Dale Brown narrowly averted arrest for intimidating a police officer last Nov. 14 during a dormitory brawl between LSU football and basketball players, according to police reports. Brown later apologized to the campus officer for allegedly threatening to have her fired after she told him that she wanted to question All-America center Shaquille O’Neal, according to reports.
The reports also allege Brown used profanity and said he would “knock the hell” out of the officer if she were not a woman.
