Counting the Take: Los Angeles public-television station KCET Channel 28 ended its pledge drive Monday night ahead of its goal, but behind last year’s take of $1.9 million. A spokeswoman said KCET was still counting up the exact tally, but it appeared that the station was “a smidgen ahead” of its goal of $1.6 million. Altogether, the station received pledges from 28,000 supporters.
