Top Bank Regulator Stolte to Take Secura Group Post

William J. Stolte, the federal government’s top national bank regulator in California, is scheduled to take over today as managing director and head of the West Coast office of Secura Group.
Stolte previously was western district deputy comptroller of the currency, based in San Francisco.
Secura is an influential consulting group based in Washington and headed by former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman William M. Isaac.
Stolte will work in Secura’s offices in San Francisco and Pasadena. He replaces Howard N. Gould, who left Secura to join Sanwa Bank California as chief administrative officer.
