Olympian Summer Sanders was named the meet’s outstanding swimmer in leading Stanford to victory over two-time defending champion Texas in the NCAA women’s championships.
The Cardinal scored 735.5 points to 651 for Texas.
Sanders set national marks in the 200- and 400-yard individual medleys. She also swam the butterfly leg of Stanford’s record-setting 200- and 400-yard medley relay teams.
