SAN DIEGO : Garage Fire Spreads, Destroys Entire House

A fire that started in a garage destroyed a home in San Diego early Saturday, authorities said.
Firefighters received a call about 4:56 a.m. that there was a garage fire at a home in the 5000 block of Solola Avenue.
The blaze spread quickly and soon engulfed the house.
Authorities said a couple and their three children, none of whom were identified, were displaced by the fire and had sought the assistance of the Red Cross.
