World War II Stamp Set Is Post Office Bestseller

WASHINGTON — The stamp set commemorating World War II proved last year’s top seller among collectors, according to U.S. Postal Service statistics.

The second most popular item was the 10-stamp space exploration set with 1,165,111 first-day postmarks.
