Milwaukee Brewer pitcher Julio Machado will not be allowed to leave Venezuela, as had been expected earlier this week, a judge in charge of his murder trial said.
Machado has admitted firing shots that killed a Venezuelan woman, Edicta Vasquez, after an auto accident Dec. 8, but Machado says he did so in self-defense.
