REMEMBERING DUKE: The grave of actor John Wayne at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar has been unmarked for too long, said Aissa Wayne during a Newport Beach appearance to promote her book “John Wayne, My Father.” The movie star’s daughter said, “My father had a special epitaph he wanted, a Spanish saying that means ‘ugly, strong, yet dignified.’ I hope this is the year my family will give him a marker.” Wayne died in 1979.
