An FBI investigation of the NHL Players’ Assn. moved to Toronto, headquarters of the union founded by Alan Eagleson, according to the Canadian Press.
The FBI, which is conducting an investigation into the NHL and the players association, contacted union lawyers, sources said.
Several former NHL players, including Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull, have charged that the players’ union failed to protect their interests over the years.
