Ward Burton of South Boston, Va., passed Davey Allison 22 laps from the end and pulled away to win a crash-filled Goodwrench 200 at Rockingham, N.C.
It was the first victory in 54 tries on the Busch Grand National circuit for Burton.
Mark Martin wound up second after getting past Allison on Lap 192. Allison held on for third, followed by Dale Earnhardt and Kenny Wallace.
