Let Me Be Your Music: Orange County will get its own “Phantom of the Opera�--in July, 1994--when a new touring company of the hit musical plays at the Performing Arts Center. The Orange County date is on the schedule of a second national touring company that is being announced today in 20 cities where “Phantom� will play minimum four-week engagements over the next three years. The new company has a $10-million budget and will replicate the Broadway production. No casting was announced for the tour, which begins in Seattle in December. “Phantom� has been running in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson since May, 1989.
